On March 29, 2019, UDC Law Review hosted a symposium on Disability Rights: Past, Present, and Future in conjunction with the ADA Law Project. The symposium began on the evening of March 28, 2019, with an event to launch the ADA Law Project website. At the launch event, individuals from both the disability advocacy and business community who were involved in the negotiations of the ADAAA came together to share their stories.
The Disability Rights symposium was designed to bring together lawyers, students, advocates, and the wider community to discuss the current status of laws surrounding disability rights as well as generate ideas for the future. Transcripts, videos, and any powerpoints used during the sessions are below.
